“Although my son and I have not yet started on the restoration of our ‘new’ 1966 Shelby GT350 as a result of my hectic schedule, I wanted to take a moment to express my thanks to you for everything you did with respect o my purchase of he car. I must admit I was a bit skeptical when I saw your advertisement in Hemmings, but one telephone call convinced me that you were extremely knowledgeable about Shelby cars and, unlike a lot of people, are willing to share that knowledge in the best interests to your clients.
As you will recall, I had initially contacted you in the hopes of finding a 1965 or 1966 GT350 in good original condition that was a solid restoration candidate. You warned me that few such cars were still available at reasonable prices, so m second alternative was a 1967 GT500. You immediately located a GT500 that had not yet been advertised, went and examined the car and provided me with a full report. Although the seller was not as motivated as we wanted, shortly thereafter you located a 1966 GT350, again unadvertised (how do you do that?), that was destined to be my car.
I was extremely impressed by the professionalism you demonstrated in your examination of this car and the negotiations that led to my purchase. Not only did you drop everything to make a trip to St. Louis to examine the car, you called me the same day and gave me the results of your examination. You then provided valuable negotiation strategies and almost, exclusively through your efforts, I purchased the car ‘sight unseen’ for a very reasonable price.
My son and I saw the car for the first time when we traveled to St. Louis to pick it up. The car was everything you said it would be and I am delighted to be its new owner. I want to thank you for all of your help, and I have nothing but complements for you and the way in which you represented me in this transaction.

As you recall, I saw your ad in Hemmings Motor News and called you and told you what I was looking for. You advised me on the merits of my choices and got me to focus on a specific car.
